Building a desk
I wrote to Johan because I saw some nice pictures of desks he build on facebook.
I was a little bit surprised about he communication, since he did not ask for that many facts besides size, wood-type, whether the desk is supposed to move up and down and wheter it is supposed to have a compartment. I would have expected a bit more consulting and also a phone call.
Since I wanted to have something really special as a treat for myself I was a bit disappointed that there was still some glue on that compartment. I even tapped in the glue because I expected it to be dry but it was wet so unfortunately it does not look that good anymore.
The table also got some holes within the woods. This is fine, but for the price I would have expected a bit more "made with love".
Also, my boyfried drove back to Denmark when we made and appointment for the arrival of the desk. On that morning Johan wanted to delive the desk he called to tell us he is not able to deliver. This was a little bit sad, but of course I also understand his situation. I just want to emphasize that this was supposed to be something really, really special but the whole package honestly did not feel like that.
